How is CEREC different from traditional crowns?

Traditional crowns require two visits – one for preparation and placement of a temporary crown, and one for placement of the permanent porcelain crown. CEREC requires just one visit and the design process, from the first scan to the milling of the crown, takes about one hour.

What does CEREC mean?

CEREC stands for CEramic REConstruction.

Can I trust a CEREC crown?

With more than 20 years of research and over 15 million CEREC restorations worldwide, you can trust a CEREC restoration with confidence.

Is CEREC only for crowns?

CEREC can be used for many different restorations including inlays, onlays, and veneers. Dr. Monteagudo will discuss whether CEREC is right for your restorative needs. In some cases, we defer to lab-made restorations for the best possible result.
